Travis Nixon kindly gives his time each year to teach a Fundamentals of Lighting class for our local IES chapter. He is always the favorite instructor of the series thanks to his unique perspective in that he is a lighting designer as well as a contractor. Absolutely Electric/ Nixon Christophers Lighting Design has been a vendor within Balboa Park since 2008 when they started work in the Museum of Photographic Arts. Since then, Travis Nixon and his team have helped nine Park institutions to reduce energy costs and UV impacts on collections, all while benefiting the visitor experience.
