Project Overview
Through third party utility funding, Absolutely Electric Inc. helped this historic downtown La Jolla jewel rework the lighting and controls for its library, gallery, and concert spaces to not only garner an extreme reduction in energy consumption, but also to facilitate an improvement in staff and visitor experiences through collection browsing, art show cycles and concert series. Currently, AE is working with the “Ath” to improve utility tariff liability through demand management.
Project Highlights:

operations and facilitates events - 73,000+kWh of usage reduced anually
- Equal to a 36kW (3,160sq ft) solar system
- Offsets 47 metric tons of CO2 annually
- Equal to 9 homes annual electrical use
- Equal to 1825 trees ability to process CO2
- 7,300+kWh of HVAC cooling offset annually
